The 2004 World Series of Poker began with 2,576 entrants, but ultimately it was PokerStars player Greg “Fossilman” Raymer who emerged victorious. Greg outlasted a record breaking number of players to take home the $5 million prize. The final opponent that Greg overcame was fellow PokerStars player David “RugDoctor” Williams.

PokerStars qualified 316 total players for the event and 28 of them finished in the money. Our players walked away with nearly $11 million of the $24 million in total prize money. Going into the final day of the torunament, four of the nine players remaining had all qualified on PokerStars.
